About Us

Hello,

We are Beth & Gary  and we live in south central Kansas.  We started breeding miniature dachshunds as a hobby back in 2003.  We are now a registered retail breeder and follow all the guidelines set forth by the state of Kansas.  Our love and respect for these captivating little dogs continually grows.  We raise all of our dogs in our home and are present at time of whelping.  Our little angels are completely spoiled and very demanding of our love and attention which we freely give.

Our love affair with the dachshund began with our very 1st look at a tiny 10 week old red long haired female we named Schautzie Luv.  She simply stole our hearts as she became the good will ambassador to all of our dogs (not dachshunds).  In a short time she was accepted by all of them.  That was no easy feat as they varied in age from 3 to 8 years old.  She showed exceptional patience with the youngest to the oldest and before long she was able to move from dog to dog and you could see the bonding beginning with each one.

When Schautzie was old enough we looked for and found a beautiful long haired red dapple male we named Herr Korkmeister.  From the very 1st litter we were hooked.  That was over seven years ago and we haven't looked back. 

We have never asked ourselves why we ever got into the business of breeding dachshunds because daily they show us why with their mischievous antics and unswerving love and loyalty to us, their 2 legged parents.

To know a dachshund is to love a dachshund.  There is a breed of dog out there for every kind of dog lover, but we like to think that the dachshund experience is unique because once you have the love and loyalty of a dachshund, there is no other breed of dog that will measure up in quite the same way for you ever again.

In keeping with our desire to breed only quality pets, all of our puppies are well socialized, AKC registered and completely current with all shots and wormings when they are released  at 8 weeks old to go to their new forever homes.
